Nigerians can now Netflix and Chill as the American on-demand internet streaming media service Netflix is now in Nigeria! Previously, Netflix was available in just 60 countries but has expanded to 130 countries and Nigeria is one of them.
This was announced during the opening keynote at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas. According to Harrison Weber of Venturebeat, Netflix’s massive expansion serves as a counter to its recent slow growth in the U.S. The other countries that can now access Netflix include Singapore, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and India. China, North Korea, Syria and Crimea were not included in this service.
Netflix Inc. is an American multinational provider of on-demand Internet streaming media available to viewers worldwide except North Korea, China, Syria and Crimea. Streaming means you get to watch your shows and movies in real time, rather than downloading them to watch later.
